The main mission of the suction apparatus is to absorb corrosive, noxious or irritating evaporations produced by the baths in order to remove them from the working environment.

The suction of gases and vapours given off by the baths is made through capture hoods placed over and attached to the sides of the vats or in intermediate positions when there are several vats.

The gas scrubbing system allows the gases to be ejected outside in accordance with environmental regulations. There are several systems that send the gases through a curtain of water to scrub them out.
